  My family and I left a mega church (CCV) feeling like cattle. You were herded in, expected to tithe, given a general message, on an Imax sized screen, meant to appeal to all, but skillfully avoiding God's word. End of message, herded out for the next tithing group. Nobody knew anybody, it is a business, not a church.
  
  When we entered AJ First, we were greated, appreciated. The lead pastor, pastor J Brown, came over and introduced himself. He took the time to learn our names and us as a family. Then pastor Bob came over and introduced himself also. Then pastor R Brown, same thing. We left that first service feeling at home. The message is from the word of The Lord, no punches pulled. The people are friendly and down to earth. This is far and away what a church of God is like.
